Mr. Albert Cecil Smith, Jr, 77, of Chester died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Barron Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Snelgrove officiating. Born March 15, 1931 in Chester County, SC, Mr. Smith was a son of the late Albert Cecil Smith, Jr and Emma Good Smith.He was a graduate of Chester High School and a Veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict.He enjoyed beekeeping, farming, fishing and his saw mill.He was retired from theChester County School Bus Shop. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Grant Smith; one son, Robbie Smith and his wife Melanie of Chester; three daughters, Kim Smith Boulware and her husband Jimmy, Lynn Smith Suggs and Joy Smith Yarborough and her husband Lee all of Chester; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one brother Robert L. Smith of Chester. The family will receive friends from 1:00 ? 3:00p.m. Sunday at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester.
