Chester Mr. Alan O’Brian Gregory, 55, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Embrace Hospice House in Myrtle Beach, SC.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2020 at Wilksburg Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Hinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. The family requests all attending the church service or the committal please wear a mask. Interment will follow at Wilksburg Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Gregory was born September 1, 1965 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Bolden Gregory and Frances Gregory. He was a graduate of Chester High School and formerly employed with PPG. Alan enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. There wasn’t much of anything that he couldn’t do - he was truly one of a kind. His sense of humor and witty ways were a real gift to anyone that knew him.He was the most amazing Dad to his children. From coaching them in sports as children, to always being one phone call away; rather it be a helping hand need, needing advice, or just a smile. He was also a wonderful “Poppy” as well - Tripp’s right hand man for squirrel and lizard hunting. No matter his circumstances, Alan always remained the ultimate provider for his family and loved them dearly. Mr. Gregory was a member of Wilksburg Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife , Suzanne Miller Gregory; two daughters, Brittany Gardner (Jeffers) of Pawley’s Island, SC and Mari Grace Gregory of Chester, SC; one son Michael Gregory of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren, Stella, Tripp, Millie, Veda Claire and Fletcher; two brothers, Johnny “Country” Gregory of Union , SC and Derrick Gregory (Sissy) of Union, SC; one sister, Debbie Campbell (Buzzy) of N.
