Richburg Mr. Alan Spencer Bennett, 70, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at his home.All services will be private. Mr. Bennett was born September 23, 1945 in Fairfield County, SC and was a son of the late Archie D. Bennett and Ophlia Gladden Bennett.He attended the schools of Fairfield County and was a retired textile worker having worked with Manetta Mills in Lando and Randolph Yarn in Rock Hill. He is survived by his wife of over 52 years, Brenda J. Bennett; one daughter, Brenda Hook (George) of Lancaster; two sons, Spencer Alan Bennett (Amber) of Chester and Troy Daniel Bennett (Pam) of Camden ; six grandchildren; two brothers, Bruce Bennett of Rock Hill and Stanley Bennett of Chester; and four sisters, Susan Adkins of Chester, Connie Brown and Nancy Threatt both of Rock Hill and Brenda Gail Hovis of Waxhaw, NC.
