Chester, SC Mrs. Agnes ByrdThomas Couch, 86, died Friday. August 14, 2009 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating. Born June 3, 1923 in Harnett County, NC, Mrs. Couch was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rose Byrd. She was a member of Lowrys Baptist Church. Surviving are two step sons, Donald C. Couch and his wife Brenda of Pickens, SC and William C. Couch and his wife Faye of Chester; a step daughter, Becky Cannon and her husband LB of Chester, 6 step Grandchildren, 8 Step Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
