CHESTER:Mrs. Affie Lee Bussie Odom, 90, died Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Chester Regional Medical Center.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 in the sanctuary of First Church of the Nazarene.The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2016 at First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Brian Howard officiating.The interment will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. Born March 26, 1926 in Duluth, Alabama Mrs. Odom was a daughter of the late Terrell B. Bussie and Emma Cotton Bussie and the widow of Leonard A. Odom.She attended the schools of Alabama and was retired from Springs Industries as a spinner.She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene. She was survived by her daughter-in-law and caregiver Betty Love Odom of Chester, SC; daughter-in-law, Viva Jane Odom of Sumter, SC; nine grandchildren, Ricky Odom (Tyanne), Angie Bagley (Tim), Renee Ward, Mike Moore (Shelly), April Ramey (Mike) all of Chester, SC, Cindy Jessie (Tim) of Fort Lawn, SC,Tammy Miller (Jeff) of Carlisle, SC; Bobby Odom, Jr and Brian Odom both of Colorado; twenty-five great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters, Emma O. Varnadore and Dianne O. Moore; two sons, Wayne Odom and Bobby Odom; four grandchildren, Gene, Scott, Todd and Michael Varnadore; two brothers, Paul and Jack Bussie and two sisters, Essie Carpenter and Coleen Tanner.
