Ada Dallas Gaston

CHESTER: Mrs. Ada Dallas Gaston, 91, formerly of Suzybole Road, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Chester Regional Nursing Center. The funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church with Reverend Larry Parsons officiating. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gaston was born June 3, 1918, a native of Union County, SC. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Alexander Dallas and Effie Lillie Lowry Dallas. Mrs. Gaston attended the schools of Union County, SC, was retired from Springs Industries as a spooler tender and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church. She was the widow of Jim Love and John Woodrow Gaston. Surviving is a daughter, Linda Estridge and her husband Jack of Kershaw, SC; two sons, Doulas Gaston and his wife Beatrice and Frayer Gaston both of Chester, SC, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Neal of Rock Hill, SC and one brother Gene Dallas of Conway, SC. Mrs. Gaston was preceded in death by a daughter Louise Jeans and two grandchildren Terry Eugene Galloway and Steven Riley Estridge.
