Abbie Lucille Kee Turner

Fort Lawn Mrs. Abbie Lucille Kee Turner, 90, died Monday, March 14, 2022 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at El Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Beth Drennan and Chaplain Vernon Thornhill officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service and other times at the home. Mrs. Turner was born October, 3, 1931 in Chester, SC and was the daughter of the late William Cephus Kee and Julia Sims Kee. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Manetta Mills as a packer. Abbie was a great baker. She loved to make cakes, many of which she shared with others. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden, trimming her shrubs and shopping at Hamricks. She is survived by two sons, Ronald M. Turner (Louise) of Fort Lawn, SC and Dwight R. Turner (Teresa) of Fort Lawn, SC; one granddaughter, Melissa Louise Turner; one brother, Marion Bo Kee (Peggy) of Richburg, SC and numerus nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Boot” Turner; her daughter, Tammy Frances Turner; two brothers and one sister.
