Mrs. Rosie Lee Peay McKeown

February 26, 1927 - February 7, 2021

Chester Mrs. Rosie Lee Peay McKeown, 93, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, in Rock Hill. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, at Cornwell Presbyterian Church cemetery with Rev. Tim Foster officiating. Mrs. McKeown was born February 26, 1927 in Chester County, SC and was a daughter of the late George Washington Peay and Bessie Massey Peay and was the last living of ten children. She attended the schools of Chester County and was retired from Springs Industries. Mrs. McKeown was a member of Cornwell Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McKeown; five brothers, Bill, John, Oscar, G.W. and Bob Peay; and four sisters, Nina Boyd, Ross Owens, Betty Wages and Evelyn Bridges.
