Chester Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” Weir Bigham, 84, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Morningside Assisted Living Center in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 14, at Trinity Presbyterian Church with Pastor Rick Wheeler officiating.A private family burial will be held at Chester Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. Mrs. Bigham was born December 16, 1929 and was a daughter of the late Harvey E. Weir and Eliza McWaters Weir.She was a homemaker and a devoted member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Bigham Sheeley of Shallote, NC; two sons, Larry Lynn Bigham and wife Kathy of Rock Hill and Randall Eugene Bigham of Lake Waylie; two sisters, Joyce Black and Joan Collins and husband Steve; one brother, Jerry Weir and wife Sybil; six grandchildren, Amy Bigham Faulkenberry and husband Brent, Kelly Bigham Talley and husband Scott, Jessica Robertson Working and husband John, Taylor Sheeley and Jamie Vanese, Kyle Sheeley, and Thomas Lynn Bigham, II; seven great-grandchildren, Cooper and Fielding Faulkenberry, Hudson, Leyton, and Wells Talley, Grace Working, and Shay Sheeley.She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Thomas Lynn Bigham,and two brothers, Mabry Weir and Gene Weir. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the medical team and staff at Morningside Assisted Living Center for their loving care and friendship over the past year. In appreciation of her church family and in honor of her sixty years of deep love and devotion to Trinity Presbyterian Church, memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 651 Great Falls Hwy., Chester, SC 29706.
