Evelyn Byrd Boshears

Chester, SC: Evelyn Byrd Boshears, 85, died Saturday December 27, 2014 at her home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Four Oaks Funeral Home, Huntsville TN with Reverend Roger Cecil officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Four Oaks Funeral Home, Huntsville, TN. Interment will be held in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery, Norma, TN. Mrs. Boshears was born in Scott County, TN on December 2, 1929 and was a daughter of the late Emsley Byrd and Inda Sexton Byrd and the widow of Carl Lee Boshears.She attended the schools of Scott County, TN and was a homemaker. Mrs. Boshears attended Helenwood Baptist Church, Helenwood. TN. She is survived by her companion of six years, George Rhodes of Chester, SC; three sons, Harold D. Boshears (Darlene) of Grandville, MI, Carlis D. Boshears (Terri)and Curtis E. Boshears of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Karen Coleman (Richard) of Belleville, MI and Teresa Polivchak (Lawrence Ahuna) of Chester, SC; ten grandchildren, Michael Coleman (Karen),Sandra Coleman and William Boshears all of MI, Misty Lee (Jason) of Chester, SC, Elizabeth Polivchak of Sarasota, FL, Robert Boshears (Susan) of Lebanon, OH, David Boshears of Mexico, Haley Boshears and Danny McKenna of Bradenton, FL and Angela Hill of FL; eighteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Troy Byrd of Saline, MI and Roy Byrd of Ypsalanti, MI; one sister, Shirley B. DeLeon (Raymond) of Fall Brook, CA, a daughter-in-law, Mary Boshears of Grand Rapids, MI and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boshears is preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Lou Boshears, a son, Larry E. Boshears, a grandson, Charles Richard Coleman, four brothers, Hubert and Odeva Byrd, Earl Robbins and Hillard Laxton and a sister, Bernice Byrd.
