Aaron D. Madden

Taylors, SC: Aaron D. Madden, 64, died Monday, August 31, 2015 at his home. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Armenia United Methodist Church with Reverend Bobby Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the home of Dee and Wayne Alley, 555 Pineview Lakes, Chester, SC 29706. Interment will be private. Mr. Madden was born in Greenwood County, SC on July 26, 1951 and was a son ofReverend Truman Madden and Elizabeth Motes Madden. He was a graduate of Chester High School, York Technical College and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Mr. Madden was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was retired as Chief of Police with Chester, SC. He was also former municipal judge and former account manager with Securitas Security Services USA. Aaron was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Madden is survived by his wife of over nineteen years, Lisa Atkinson Madden; two daughters, Christie Madden Collins (Sam, Jr.) and Dee Madden Alley (Wayne) all of Chester, SC; step-son whom Aaron raised and loved as his own, Coy Wilson of Taylors, SC; seven grandchildren, Sydney, Josh, Gracein, Anna Kathryn, Jordan, Justin and Wade; two brothers, Randy L. Madden (Sheila) of Chester, SCand Ronnie L. Madden (Val) of Georgia.
