CHESTER Ms. Phyllis Cranford Morgan, 60, died Monday, September 12, 2011 at her residence.A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Chester A.R.P. Church with Rev. Clint Davis and Rev. Michael Shaffer officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church sanctuary. Born April 2, 1951 in Chester, SC, Phyllis was a daughter of William Arthur and Patsy Mullinax Cranford.She was a 1969 graduate of Chester High School and employedwith the Chester County Health Department for over twenty-eight years as an administrative assistant and also worked as public relations for Levy?s Concessions. She is survived by one son, Harry K. ?Hap? Morgan, Jr.and his wife Margaret of Chester;a dear friend and companion Ron Johnson of Chester; one granddaughter, Layla Morgan of Chester; one brother, Billy Cranford of Chester; her mother, Patsy Mullinax Cranford of Chester and special friends, Patti Smith of Chester, Zack Smith of Murrells Inlet, SC and Summer Smith of Chester.
